man. Each chalet is light and spacious with its own private balcony

Day 2:
This
morning we explore the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve, Africa's
oldest reserve and home to the “Big Five”, first declared
a Game Sanctuary in 1887 before which it was hunting ground for
the Zulu kings such as Dingiswayo and Shaka. It is also internationally

then head for the Cheetah and Serval Project for an opportunity
to see these amazing predatory cats up close. At this project
there is a rare opportunity to touch hand reared Serval and Caracal.
This is a highlight to many of our guests. The aim of the project
is to care for wild Cheetah and Serval Cats, which have been orphaned
or injured in the wild and are in need of care and rehabilitation.
The centre also breeds where possible and releases the offspring
back into their natural habitat.
After leaving
the project we stop to view the local crafts and enjoy a relaxing
lunch. The 3 day safari will depart for Durban and a St Lucia
Wetland Park boat cruise, while 4 day safari has a choice of either
game viewing at Hluhluwe Imfolosi, or enjoying some time at the

with its fascinating wetland area that has some of the highest
vegetated dunes in the world, and many wildlife and bird species.
